Volunteer with Operation Easter Basket (OEB)

  • This program has provided wonderful service opportunities for schools. PIO supplies the buckets, cellophane wrapping, and color-coded ribbon that identifies the age group. Volunteers set up the assembly line so that the project runs smoothly and efficiently. Cardboard bins are utilized to place the items collected. Volunteers take a basket and then add the contents as they walk down the assembly line. Baskets are assembled on location at participating schools and then loaded into a truck or vehicles and delivered to the warehouse.

Program Timeline: Assembly Day is typically in February or March

Time Commitment: One day (4-6 hours)
